Analysis of local and non-local chert use across the Gravettian, Proto-Solutrean and Solutrean levels at Vale Boi. Non-local cherts were intensively reduced and transported as versatile raw material volumes rather than finished tools, with reliance on them decreasing as occupations became longer-term.
